The tools provided are exactly what you need for aflawless removal and installation work, the problem are the replacement units, both came with problems, one of them is extremely loose and the other one started failing after 1 week of use.

The kit really did include everything you need for this replacement. The ribbon cable is an absolute beast to reseat. The rest is fairly simple to do with a bit of patience.

My 11 year old son needed these to fix his oculus controllers. He figured it out in his own and fixed his own electronics. They work great and seem to be holding up really well. It was pretty easy for him to put it together. The price was great as well!
