The stamper and the ink are great. The ink dries quickly after stamping. The stamper is easy to adjust to the right day and is easy to "roll" across the egg to stamp the date on it. I threw the "Egg care" cards away as the information on them is inaccurate as float testing does not determine the age of an egg but the size of the air space in the egg. Eggs are good for a long time sitting on the counter at room temperature if unwashed and for MONTHS if refrigerated (both washed and even longer if unwashed) the only true way to determine if an egg is bad is to crack it open to see if it rotten!

As shown in the picture I posted the date stamp was missing and given the size of the box (super small) it was simply not sent. Without it the whole reason for getting it is now useless. Very disappointing & dissatisfied.

We sell duck eggs (eating and hatching) to friends and neighbors. We have a gravity storage system that allows the older eggs to roll forward as we place the newly laid eggs in the back. This gave us a decent idea of when they were laid but not exact dates. Hatch rates drop dramatically after an egg is older then 10 days before incubation. We also don’t sell our eggs for eating if they’ve been out of the chicken for more than 2 days. This gives us a precise date and our customers appreciate it! It came with some egg storage information cards to place in new buyers so they can know how to take care of fresh eggs.

Easy to use and date is very legible. Perfect size for my small and large jumbo eggs.

I love the stamp set, I have chickens, ducks, quails, geese and get a lot of eggs all the time, I always had issues labeling them and keeping them sorted. This date stamp makes it so simple!!! Every day I just add the stamp on each egg, and I know how old they are. It works easily, the only issue is me because the eggs are rounded, it's sometimes not easy to get the whole stamp on right. I just stamp again :). It came with red and blue ink pads, I'm only using one right now, but it lasted 2 months already and the color didn't dry out. I highly RECOMMEND this, it is so useful!!! Everyone who buys or gets eggs from me commented on how cool the stamped date is. I also got the labels for farm fresh eggs, but I never use them. I think if you sell your eggs on the farmers market or so these labels will be a nice touch! I'm so happy with just the stamp that I don't care for the labels, but they are really nice, too! Get this, it will help you!
