I have the "super cab" version of the OBS truck, and i wasn't sure if it used the same bushing kit as the single cabs -it does!The removal of the old bushings can be a bit tedious, due to age and rust common to these trucks, but is quite doable. I did have to unbolt my rear folding bench seat to access the rear cab bolts, but it only takes a few minutes to remove. Once I had the old bushings removed, the new bushings and hardware -provided you follow the directions on the amazon page- installed quickly and easily. My cab now sits about 3/4" higher than it did with the old, sagging bushings. The cab doesn't line up perfectly with the bed (a common thing on these old fords), but my truck has been in a wreck involving the bed, so I can't blame the bushings. These bushings are definitely a variety of polyurethane -not silicone- and they do transmit more vibration and tire noise to the cab than the OE bushings did, but not to the extent of causing discomfort or reducing ride quality. I would have greatly appreciated a set of printed instructions inside the actual kit itself, but otherwise this kit fits properly and is a pretty decent value.Note: the factory radiator support bushings are usually hexagonal. The round bushings in this kit DO replace them without issue; they just look different before install.

This set looks complete but the bolts don't appear to have any sort of corrosion protection applied. I'm worried this will rust out very quickly, even in a mild climate.

I was really impressed with the completeness of this kit and with the superior quality of the parts.1) The bolts are stronger that OEM at Grade 5 strength. The bolts ARE correctly sized having long smooth sides and ONLY having the threads at the end for applying the squeezing tightening force. Too many times I get kits with dangerously incorrect “full thread” bolts with the threads starting just under the bolt head. Having a full length full threaded bolt is incorrect because the sharp threads cut into metal and wallow out the holes, get loose, destroy parts, and are dangerous. You get all the necessary parts including the correctly sized washers and bolt sleeves.2) The mounting bushings have the correct interconnecting coupling shape and length (height). The interconnecting coupling shape holds the bushings together. The mounting bushings are the correct length (height) to position the cab at the correct height. I can’t really comment on the “silicone” compound versus the OEM rubber compound in terms of longevity, shock absorption, etc. but a lot of different manufactures of many different products are now using such “silicone” based compounds for all sorts of my tools and equipment so perhaps there are significant advantages of the “silicone” based compounds.
