I have not fully figured out all of the "how to" for wax seal making but these have proven to be useful in helping me figure out how much is required for each stamp. I like that they come with a silicone mat to work on. It makes for really easy clean up and protects my work space from waxes that might discolor lighter colored surfaces. They come in a handy storage box and are made out strong enough metal that they don't bend with regular repeated use. They are a good price for beginners and experienced stampers alike.

This is a great little tool to get uniform wax seals. I somehow always manage to make my wax seals larger on one side and lacking an edge on the other. This solves that problem by ensuring you have a full seal each time. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a consistently shaped seal. Another nice feature about this set is that it does come in a few different shapes as well as a coaster-sized silicone mat.

Some of my wax seal stamps are larger than the diameter of these 'frames.' I do have some that fit and tried these out. There's definitely a learning curve! They use a bit more wax to fill the frame than you do when just dripping and stamping. Nice to have the little silicone bad so the seals are easy to remove. For me, some of the beauty is the irregular shape of handmade wax seals. The seals made with these are more uniform--just a preference, I guess!

This works wonderfully for a gift for someone who already uses wax seals. The seals are then enhances and more finished looking. These can be used with any standard seal kit and make the seals look great! Super easy to use.
