Better range than my OE remote. Easy to set up. I used the guidance of a Youtube vid. Rich color makes it easy to see in low light when looking for my keys. Good buy.

If you are curious if it's worth the money, will it work for my vehicle.Get in hold unlock button while cycling the key twice, release the unlock and hold the lock and unlock on the unit till the doors look and then cycle your key to turn off programing. If you are wondering if you have remote start on new Chevy's go to the menu and see if the option is there before you order.

This Keyless Entry Remote was just the ticket to replace my 20 year original remote. I inquired at a local auto parts store on the replacement cost of one, the price was $100.00. My only question on these units is am I "programming" the trucks code to the frequency of the remote or the remotes code to the frequency of the truck. I noticed that the operating range is not as effective as the original; the battery may be a little weak. For the price difference, I don't mind.

I originally bought this in May 2016 for my 2002 Avalanche. (almost 4 yrs ago) I bought red to match my red truck. It's worked flawlessly for nearly 4 years!! It's been dropped, banged, and had things set on top of it, and it's continued to work like new. I've had to replace the battery once, maybe twice. It's had so much use, that the print on the buttons is completely gone! It started acting up today, and most likely just needs a new battery. But I decided to see how much a new one was, because I miss the button labels. Well, 4 years later, it's $1 more, but well worth the price as far as I'm concerned. Just hope the new one works as well as this one did!!

I bought this and another (black, but otherwise identical) fob through World Wide Remotes, fulfilled by Amazon and am very satisfied with the transaction. The fobs arrived well-packaged and on time, were easy to program and worked as advertised. I want to raise two issues unrelated to the product itself:1) Despite the fact that the product description indicated these fobs were "compatible with 15042968," which is exactly the same number that was imprinted on the back of the original fob that came with my 2002 GMC Yukon XL 1500, above the picture of the fob was a pink-highlighted warning that said: "This does not fit your: 2002 GMC Yukon XL 1500" !!! I did some research and was sufficiently convinced that this was a bogus warning and ordered the fobs (and, as above, they were compatible and worked just fine). Amazon needs to look into and fix this misleading warning.2) While the instructions that came with the fobs were fairly easy to understand, World Wide Remotes should consult with a grammarian andimprove the clarity of these instructions somewhat. Also, the instruction sheet said the fob was compatible with lots of similar 2001-2002 Chevy and GMC models, including the Yukon, it didn't include (my) Yukon XL, the GMC version of the Suburban.
