Looks good, but doesn't work at short stems for mountain bikes. The angle is then to big for edge 1030. A possibility to get around this is to mount it in the direction saddle. So it's pointing towards you. But is then less comfortable to navigate during the ride.

This is a beautiful piece of kit. When you hold it, it is light and it oozes quality. Beautifully machined and seems to be very precise.The computer fits in it very snugly and has a very satisfying click when it is fully engaged – and this is more than can be said of the standard amounts which are supplied by Garmin which have a very rubbishy feel to them.This adjustable stem mount is very easy to install. Takes only about five minutes.However, if you are using this with a Garmin 1000, there is really no point in paying the extra money for this adjustable version of the stem mount because the Garmin 1000 is so long that you can't move the angle up more than a couple of degrees before the base of the Garmin hits the top of the steerer. I don't see any way round this. You can mount extra waters under it but at the end of the day the base of the Garmin will still interfere.I'm sure that if you buy the ordinary non-adjustable version to mount your Garmin 1000, you will receive exactly the same functionality as this adjustable version and save some money.These mounts really are excellent – but it is simply not made for the Garmin 1000 – and it is a shame that they claim that it is on the K-Edge website. I don't know if the same problem occurs with other Garmin computers. I notice that on the K-edge website, the photographs they used to demonstrate the adjustable stem in action is not the Garmin 1000 – in fact it is a much older and shorter version, which of course works well with it. I have to say that this is edging towards dishonesty by K-edge.
