This item was purchased to provide a few hours of light from a 5V LED lamp. Unfortunately it only provides about two hours of light before the battery is depleted and the light shuts down. I have a sma;;er battery that is used with a power tool that draws significantly more current and it will run much longer than the light I am using.

This battery pack is compact and has a fairly modest capacity for its size. Its 6 amp-hour rating is equivalent to 6000mAh if you want to compare it to USB power banks. This is a battery and not a power bank, but it shares many of the same characteristics of a power bank, minus any USB ports.I am going to experiment with this battery and a small solar panel to see if it will run a small outdoor security camera without the need to manually recharge the battery.So far, this battery appears to perform as expected for its specifications. I will update if I have anything new to add after completing my experimentation with the solar panel and camera.

This battery is a 5V battery, which is the same voltage as supplied from USB ports. This means you can use this to power any device that can be plugged into a USB port (as long as you have the wiring correct!)The included charger and wiring kit is a nice addition. I'll be using the battery and wiring to power a small LED strip that runs under an awning where I have no electricity.
