In 2025 dash cams should not have to be any bigger than this camera; it's very small and doesn't take much windshield space, but delivers decent quality video for it's price point. I like that there's no screen as the screen dashcams are distracting and not neccesary.I was initially concerned when reviewing video footage on the app as I saw pixels, when I downloaded the same video and played it on my phone or video it was much better. The video is functional enough to capture most relevant details from the angle it's facing; it has decently wide coverage. The limitations to consider is this still is not a very high end camera, and I question how well it would capture license plates at distances or in less than ideal lighting; the best thing to do is to verbally say a license plate number in any relevant situation so the audio catches it. It should still help for proving liability/fault in an accident or proving speed/stopping at traffic stops. (speed is not displayed on this camera but technically speed can usually be determined from footage). The capacitor is good to have, as the camera records for a short time after losing power. It doesn't record for long, but hopefully if power was shut off in an accident it would help preserve the video. The main complaint about it's design is the light on the side does slowly flash when recording, and I have not yet found a way to change this; it is slightly distracting when driving and most dash cams I've tested seem to have this design problem, I don't know why manufacturers can't just put a non-flashing light to indicate recording which would let the driver know it's working but not distract; one work around I may do is put a piece of tape on the light, although this will defeat the purpose of it letting me know if it works. The only test I do not have information for fortnantly as of writing this is how it performs in a high-shock environment/collision, as I've seen complaints of dashcams among any price group having this issue.I currently am using it as a secondary camera with one other camera from a different manufacturer running due to many online posts about people's dash cams failing when they had an accident or needed it, though I may use it as a standalone primary camera if it continues to work well or for social appearances with my car. I believe that having two cameras is beneficial if one doesn't work, however it does send a little over-the-top of a messege when parking in social settings. This camera has the advantage of being smaller/discrete.One reccomendation to any buyers is to buy a name-brand "high endurance" card with good speed and lifespan; buying a high endurance SD card has helped with reliability of a cheaper competing dash cam and I imagine it will improve long term reliability of this camera; I question if some of the reviewers who complain a camera stopped working after a few months were using high-endurance SD cards, as low-end cards are not made to be constantly re-written or in hot/cold/shock environments. One limitation this camera does have is it states it only supports 128GB cards; I don't know what would happen if a higher card was placed, however 128GB lasts a few hours.

I just wanted the tiniest dashcam and this fits the purpose. Installation was pretty easy. Video and photos quality are good. I placed mine on the dashboard but because it's meant to be placed on windscreen the videos are upside down. The only downside is that the material feels kinda cheap and plasticky.

Works so good and easy to install. Change the default wifi settings password though. 12345678 is the default. Anyone can guess that if they see the WiFi network available. Just my tip.It took me about 10 minutes to setup in my SUV.

I wanted a small dash cam to go behind my rear view mirror and this is a perfect fit. Placing the camera is easy running the wire was challenging but manageable. The wire was plenty long enough to run under my headliner, side piller and glove box to the cigarette lighter. I like that the plug and camera have a little light so I know it’s got power. It was simple to put in the memory card and connect to the app on my android device. The video quality is great in the daytime. For the price it’s great and easy to install

Food for thought for buyers.Dash cam has major issues with connection, freezing and recording clips. have to exit application for dash work again try doing that while driving. Dash cam goes blank then tries to reconnect works for a minute then goes blank again freezes. I'm thinking video clips are still being recorded right? wrong lol.I checked the video clips, and it records the blank and the frozen part as it happens. So, if someone has an accident while this KAWA dash cam and you want to try proving the accident then good luck with that. I emailed the KAWA support got a reply almost a week later and I'm still waiting for more reply's what this say about this KAWA company it's pretty obvious. Anyway, getting my refund soon, Terrible.
