I like the fact they are exactly like the Nikon brand and they last longer than the original batteries.

They work fine in my Nikon D5600. Charge pretty quickly too. They just do not last as long in use as the original Nikon battery. Other than that they are great for backup power.

This review is for the Kastar Battery (2-Pack) for Nikon EN-EL14a.A must have accessory for any DSLR camera are additional batteries. You can buy the Nikon's batteries but they are both more expensive and often of lower electrical capacity compared to many 3rd party batteries. But not all 3rd party batteries are created equal. Many are 3rd party batteries will degrade quickly over time, and won’t hold a full charge or drain extremely fast.The Kastar Battery (2-Pack) for Nikon EN-EL14a isn't the cheapest 3rd party battery available, but they’re still only a 1/3 of the cost of the Nikon OEM battery. In addition, the Kastar has a 38% greater capacity over the Nikon OEM battery (1700mAh vs. 1350mAh). I’ve only been using the Karstar EN-EL14a batteries for a few weeks now in my Nikon D5600, but initial impressions are good. They charge quickly (within an hour) and battery drain does not appear to be accelerating with repeated charges.I’ll post a follow-up review in a couple of months.Pros* Less expensive than the Nikon OEM EN-EL14a battery (paid $19.99 for the 2-pack on 01/2019)* 38% greater capacity over the Nikon OEM battery (1700mAh vs. 1350mAh)* Relatively fast charging (less than an hour)* No noticeable degradation in gold charge after repeated charging* 30-day money back and 3-year warrantyCons* None so farOverall, a highly recommend.
