I got these Kakalote Trash Can Lid Locks to help out my handicapped neighbor, who has had a constant issue with animals getting into his plastic dumpster and tearing his trash bags to shreds. Since I take his bags to the curb, dealing with torn bags made things messy and difficult. But after installing these straps, I haven’t had to worry about shredded trash once!The adjustable straps fit securely and have kept everything in place perfectly. These locks are super easy to use and have been a total game-changer—no more mess, no more hassle. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with curious critters!

The Kakalote 2 Piece Trash Can Lid Lock is a great home accessory. The product is a pair of adjustable garbage can straps that are made well with good quality materials. The durable straps were simple to attach. After determining the best location on the can and drilling a couple of holes, I used the included screws, washers, and bolts to secure the strap(s) to my garbage can. (I would NOT recommend drilling into a can/bin that you don’t own). Since the single strap held the lid in place so well, I decided to place only one on the bin. I’m completely satisfied with this product, because I no longer have to worrying about the wind blowing the lid open.
