We have a few sets of these and they're really nice. The first set came in a hard plastic case that's really hand for storage but I found that this set having a fabric bag is even better as it doesn't require the pieces to be a specific order to fit.The pieces themselves are nice and smooth and go together really well. I got this for an older kid but she still has a ton of fun putting it together in different configurations and adding it to her other games.Overall this is a great set and I'd recommend it.

If you just look at the blocks, it's hard to see what they're for; you need directions, but if you're 5 years old or younger, you won't understand them. But it's cute when put together. Drawstring carry pouch included; wish it were a bit bigger.

I themed a room at our daycare as an underwater/ocean space. The room is geared towards younger children 4-7 years old, but open to children up to 13 years old. I ditched the regular Legos in this area and paired a few sets of these with various fish and ocean creature toys and the kids love building little racetracks and mazes with these for the creatures to go through. It's great for a more immersive ocean theme and still quite fun for the kids to play with.
