I've been drinking matcha got a little while now and finally decided to get a matcha whisk and set. This set was fairly cheap and I really love the color and quality of the bowl and whisk stand. I wish I would've done more research or that the set came with an instruction booklet as I returned my set because the tight bundle of whisk fibers in the middle started to come undone after I washed it, then completely came undone after I used it the first time. The outer fibers also began to lose their curl which was really disappointing given I had only used it once.Well, after ordering a new set, which did include a pamphlet, I learned that both of those things are actually completely normal and expected. I haven't used my new set yet, but I do appreciate the instructional booklet as I didn't store my whisk in this set correctly after my first use bc I didn't know better. I loved the color and feel of this set, but the tapered top did make whisking my matcha a little awkward. A pour spout would've been nice. I didn't make a huge mess, but I could see how you easily could if not paying attention.

this is the best matcha starter kit or kit for someone who just loves matcha already! i’m recently new to making matcha and this changed the game for me!

Nicely packaged in foam so the ceramics don’t chip or break. Quality of items is great for the price.Will update review based on durability.Editing to add: lasted pretty well after a month of use! The ceramic bowl is smooth and large, great for whisking. Bamboo whisk does not leave any noticeable taste. The set of tools is versatile and good for beginners.
