The sight of this Jelly-Shark ruler stationary set made me somewhat nostalgic for the kinds of old trinkets I'd find in my grandparents' desk drawers. I really liked the idea of having a nice brass set in my own desk and these are useful to have for small sketches and things. I like to design and sketch things out, so I knew I'd be able to use these.When they arrived, they were as heavy as I had hoped and seem to be decent quality. They do have "Jelly-Shark" laser printed on them, but the markings are engraved. The finish quality is good with smooth edges and everything is smooth without any sharp edges or corners.I checked these against some other rulers and tape measures to make sure the scales were accurate and these matched up with my other measuring devices. There was actually one name brand ruler I have in my drawer that did not agree and surprisingly it seems like that name brand ruler is off, which I never knew before. This set agreed with everything else including both new and vintage rulers, so I would say for all intents and purposes these are well manufactured and accurate across the full range of scales.Overall I am very happy with these. They are a bit expensive, but they do have a premium feel and are sure to last a lifetime. I plan to get some good use out of these and hopefully a future generation finds them as interesting as I do.

These are made from good, thick metal, and they're surprisingly well made for the price!

I recently purchased the Jelly-Shark ruler stationary set, and it brought back nostalgic memories of the trinkets I used to find in my grandparents' desk drawers. I was drawn to the idea of having a classic brass set for my own desk, and I'm pleased to say that these rulers are both useful and charming.Upon arrival, I was impressed by their weight and apparent quality. The rulers are engraved with "Jelly-Shark" but have smooth edges and a polished finish, giving them a premium feel. I tested the accuracy of the scales against other rulers and tape measures in my collection, and I found them to be consistent and reliable across the board. Surprisingly, they even outperformed a well-known brand ruler I had, which turned out to be slightly off.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase. While they may be a bit pricey, their quality and accuracy justify the cost. I anticipate getting plenty of use out of them, and I hope they become cherished items for future generations, just as they have been for me. Highly recommended!
