This Youngfu insulated set, as far as I know, will protect you while working on electrical systems; I purchased this set mostly for use when building, maintaining, and disassembling LiFePO4 battery packs from raw cells.They’re rated for 1000 volts and I’ll advise you to NOT bet the farm on that claim. These are not trade quality imo. This rating is potentially a very dangerous exaggeration, and China somehow gets away with making ludicrous claims and assigns imaginary ratings to all sorts of subpar products, so you have to be careful. The 500,000 lumen headlamps for around $19 are a great example of this.Thankfully, I only interact with systems between 12 to 48V (nominal voltage). If I were to be working on say, a 240V line or anything higher, I’d spend the money and get a real set of insulated tools from Knipex or Klein, or similar brand of established quality standards. My hands/heart/life are worth the extra money I think and yours are too. If you can’t even get the specs on your tools to not rub off after one or two uses I’m not putting these up against 1,000 Volts of juice. No. I’d have to be a young fu to do that.For what they are, they’re fine if you only use them occasionally for lower voltage work. But keep this in mind: right out of the box the printing on the screwdrivers was smeared, and the stitching on the case was already fraying, and it’s details like this that clue you in to the lower build quality. The zippered storage case they come with is better than nothing, and the assortment of sizes included were what I needed.
