When looking for biodegradable limited use cutlery, I came across these. I was impressed with the nearly full size, the price seemed fair and the largely cornstarch based composition.What really won me over was the manufacturer’s video which featured a segment of extremely tough handling of the product- repeatedly bending the utensils and striking them against a hard surface (rather mercilessly).When I received the fork and spoon set, I gave them a bit of a bend and they felt sturdy, I’ve hand washed them and reused them several times. They’re also comfortable to hold.The most “extreme” heat I’ve put them to is fresh from the oven baked macaroni and cheese- there was no warping or bending.Given these can be reused many times and the promise of a good breakdown when disposed of- I feel these are a much more earth-friendly option than traditional disposable cutlery.They work well, the color is very neutral, and I would have no hesitation using these at any event.

These have to be the most durable set of recycling utensils I have used. Great for the value, price, and overall product!

These are very functional and pretty sturdy for any meal I have thrown at them so far. There is no plastic or chemical taste. They look like they may be eco friendly. But only time will tell on those.Over all, I feel these utensils are worth the price and are on my repurchase list.

Love these. Their midweight, strong, quite heat resistant, and I love that I can compost them so I don't feel bad about tossing them in the trash. I've used the spoons to stir hot food cooking on the stove and I can get a couple twirls before it starts to soften a little.And the mouth feel! This is important to me because of sensory stuff. They are smooth, but not too smooth, and they have a pleasing temperature and shape, with no taste.Sometimes I wash and reuse them. Could probably wash and reuse them dozens upon dozens of times, they are that sturdy.

This product is well made and sturdy however I will never buy it again and I don’t recommend it. It may sound silly but the bowl of the spoon is too deep. Therefore, the sides of the bowl are fairly steep. When my upper lip tries to draw something soft, ie yogurt, off the spoon the sides feel like they are going to cut into my lip because my lip has to reach into the bottom of the deep bowl to get all the yogurt. Usually, a spoon is a bit flatter so this doesn’t happen. You could actually use this spoon for soup. I really wish I hadn’t bought these.
