Perfect fit, fast easy replacement. Remember to secure the window in place with a strap or strong tape before starting. One person 15-30 minutes.If the hinges are removed without first securing the window the pistons will push it out of alignment, requiring a second pair of hands to retract the pistons and realign the window while the hinges are secured in place. Two person 1-2 hours!

I had the left rear glass hinge explode on my 2007 Explorer on 7/4/23. I ordered this part after watching a YouTube video on replacement. I found the partdsd to be good quality and were easy to install. They are labeled for left and right if you look at the part itself (L and R respectively which is critical for propert installation).The broken one was fairly easy to replace but the one that ewas still intact had to be drilled out as the part attached to the window was too corroded to remove and the torx head on the bolt stripped out. That was not too bad and I managed to get the bolt removed without breaking the glass, and then installing the new hinge was a BREEZE.I recommend this product.

The factory hinges on my 2010 Ford Explorer were plastic and cracked. One of them had completely broken when I opened the hatch. These ones are metal and had the exact same shape as the factory ones. They fit on with no issues and work well.

Muy bueas visagras, solo tuve que hacer el orificio original de la parte metaluca mas grande porque no cabía. Del lado del vidrio todo perfecto

Passenger tailgate glass hinge broke. Ford dealership wanted $86 for 1 hinge and $7 for the bolt. This kit from amazon arrived next day, had left and right hinge and bolt, and was $38. Fit great, having a second set of hands helped complete the job with minimal swearing, maybe 15 mins for 1 hinge and that was due to trying to nail down the alignment. Videos online suggested mounting the body side first, but i found securing the glass first and then mounting hinge to vehicle made it easier.
