This set has everything but the matcha! I love the cherry blossoms on the “pot”, cups, mat and box. I was torn between the beautiful green and pink colors , but leaned into the Sakura theme and went with the pink.I love how this set came with 2 matching tea cups. I also appreciate the spout and wavy perimeter of the pot. This set came with a concise and helpful handbook that matched the box. That makes it great for novices and gift giving. The blossom carvings give the pot and cups a nice feel, and I did not find them to be too warm. The mat is absorbent and pretty. The whisk needs to be briefly soaked before use, and the cups work perfectly for that. Wonderful tea!Everything was well packed and arrived safely. The box is a beautiful presentation and I would happily give this set as a gift. Except that I love it and am keeping it! I can’t recommend this enough!

This matcha set is of really good quality. I love the craftmenship of the ceramic, and I love the vividness of the color. I chose the pink set from the options available. The materials are of good quality. I often buy a matcha set just because I find the matcha bowl lovely, and this set is no different. The bowl is my favorite feature,

This is a great gift for those who want to enter the world of matcha...or not. Honestly, it looks nice as a decoration or just as cups, and if you use this for other things besides matcha, I would too.The kit works; a lot of the pieces feel more optional than necessary. It's nice to have two cups, it's nice to have the towel, or the spoon holder; they're not essential but nice to haves. The bowl is good if you don't want to do the traditional style of sharing the bowl; traditionally, matcha would be made in the bowl, and passed around, which for pragmatic reasons the cups and the bowl lip is a nice touch.Minor issue, preparing the matcha at 175F is a bit too hot to hold the bowl. I have other mugs and matcha bowls that do not have this issue.
