If you do any type of drilling into ceramic or glass or tile you really should get a set such as this. These are super strong and durable. The finish is not lifted at all in the 2 months since we started working with it and they fit like any conventional bit. Super easy to use and an excellent value.The holes come out nice and clean, and with just a very light brushing with a smooth sandpaper you're good to go

Love that this set comes with a variety of sizes and includes a metal drilling tip. I actually used the metal tip to widen the hole for a door strike plate and it worked great - it’s strong and sharp.

This is the first set of flat faced diamond bits I have used so I cannot compare to other brands. These bits cut cleanly and quickly in porcelain tile but even though they are diamond they do wear out however, just like diamond saw blades you can extend the life by dressing them with a dressing stone. If you can use water in your application it will help keep the bit cooler and cleaner which should aid in extending the life. There is a bit of a learning curve for starting a hole with a flat faced bit so do a search for that before hand and if possible practice on a piece of scrap.

I needed some new drill bits for my drill and this does a fantastic job! You get seven pieces in this set and the drill bits are made of carbide and diamond dust. The materials and construction are made to last. They recommended for use on tile and stone and can easily drill through a lot of tough and hard surfaces. I am very happy with these drill bits.
