Personally I hate quarter round, and prefer a nice cove trim on my floors. I got this set due to the price for 4 bits. They are reasonably good quality and for a homeowner and person doing small projects it seems they will last me a lifetime. I ended up going with the 7/16th and used them to create shoe molding for spots against cabinets where baseboard would not be appropriate and i needed to cover the gaps. Way nicer than traditional quarter round imo.As to quality they seem well made, the carbide blades are welded on well, and they stayed sharp and cut clean after a few batches were made with the one i needed. I look forward to making some larger and smaller pieces for picture frames and other little inlay pieces.

I have only used the 3/8" and 1/2" bits, but they performed really well. First thing I always do is check the bearing, that it operates smoothly and that it is secured on the bit well. Second thing is look at the bits for visible cracks, chipping, or deformities. All looked good there with these bits. Both bits cut smoothly enough without resistance more than normal. I'd buy these again.
