I use these pencils every day on construction job sites. Very durable and reliable. I’ve used the same one for almost 2 years without any problems. Well worth the money.

These look tough but they are kind of delicate. The shirt hook falls off. The sharpener does not work well at all, sort of too much trouble to even use. The lead that comes with it breaks super easy.

I wanted to try these, since I do a lot of pencil sketching and my go to for 2.0 pencils for sketching is Rosetta's. But presently, they only comes in Blue & Black. ... I've always liked their feel, weight, etc., but I also use/have different grades of lead in each, and this one seems to fit in there well. And the color being different helps me remember the type of lead I have in it. ... If there was any complaint to these, it would be that they are just slightly too large to be used in my Tub-Sharpener, like I do with the Rosetta's. The diameter is just slightly larger, so I have to use the end sharpener on it, which works fine. But you have to make sure you get all the powdered shavings out, less it get all over what you might be working on. Tapping it repeatedly and blowing it out each time helps, but you will know if you forget to get it all out. - I keep one in my art setup, and the other at work since I prefer using a pencil or pens. Even for everyday writing...

I purchased these for use in my bullet journal as I do not like wooden pencils but prefer the sensation of graphite rubbing into the paper. The quality is superb for the price; very sturdy aluminum barrel. My butterfingers dropped them immediately after opening them and suffered no damage. The push-cap in the top contains a small hole that the lead can be inserted into and sharpened, it works very well, just be wary of accidentally tapping the lead shavings from it onto your medium.I am not a professional drafter, but for average consumer use, these are exemplary.

For years, I have owned several Staedtler Technical Mechanical Pencils, only to have them break. I also did not care for the way that the pencil holds the lead.I was surprised to find this pencil at such an affordable price. I also like the fact that it is metal. Furthermore, the lead is held and released like a mechanical pencil as opposed to a lead holder. Was even shocked to get two for the price of one.The only criticisms I have are as follows:- This pencil will NOT fit into a Staedtler Lead Pointer. However, it will fit into the Alvin Lead Holder.- I had to make sure that the bottom of the pencil was tightly attached, as they were loose when they arrived.- Would like to see the option of adding the mechanism that allows you to show what lead is in the pencil (2B, 4B, etc.)This has become the only mechanical pencil that I have used since I got it...
