I use my irons a lot since I do crafts & sewing. I have the iron on most of the time when I'm sewing so this iron rest is perfect. I don't have to worry about the iron tipping over (since I always rested it upright) & now I don't have to worry about scalding my ironing board cover (which I've done a few times).These pads are very lightweight. I had to install the silicone pieces that snap right onto the metal bases. The design of these rest pads is very simple yet very effective. Finding a 2 pack of these was awesome! Now I can protect both of my ironing boards!
