First of all, I ordered the 10-pack but only received 6 needles. It's only a dollar difference, but still. The big needles are fine, but the small needles do not fit in the holder/grip that this kit comes with. Obviously rerooting is a difficult job and it is normal for a couple of needles to break, but I broke or bent all 6 of the needles in 2 days, which has never happened to me before. The small needles were nearly impossible to use, and they kept slipping out of the holder and stabbing me. The only good thing about this kit were the two awls included, which I will keep using. Unfortunately though, I'm not satisfied with the quality of the needles and the fact that they don't fit into the provided holder.

works for what its needed for BUT the two needles given snapped immediately, so remember to have extra sewing needles ( break them in half at the circle top and then you have the same type of hook needed to reroot so not as bad but kind of a pain)

The tools really worked for me! But they are delicate, especially the smaller thinner needles. I managed to reroot a lot of dolls, but I did break a few needles. So I bought another. It is easy to learn how to use and quite fun. They get the job done. But as with everything, you need use a significant amount of gentleness. One of my favorite tools is the one you put inside the plug holes of the head to make it bigger for the hair and needle. If you care to be gentle, I recommend this, for the price as well. Maybe you should consider a more durable tool anyway.

First time re-rooter here. I snapped two needles but was able to reinsert the second one. Glad for backups. Once I figured them out, these tools worked well for me. The pony is Kids Connection and the hair is Purple Unicorn nylon by Dolltress.

This comes with two sizes of needles. The smaller one does not fit into the handle. I tightened it as much as I could, and it still was too loose. When I tried to use it the needle kept falling out of the handle. The needle broke right away. I think it is because it didnt fit the handle. I had trouble with the bigger needle too, but it fit much better than the small. The big needle also broke, but this time probably because I am a beginner. It's ok, but I dont know if it will last long. I will mostly likely be buying a new tool from somewhere else that is a bit easier to use.
