I got this to install as water shut-off valves in my trailer but made a mistake and got the wrong size so I can only commit on the overall build quality and my impressions.It looks very well built, has a really. nice finish, and have no doubt it would have worked fine if I had gotten the correct size for my needs. 5 stars based on my initial impressions.

Valve is chrome plated brass with a chrome or stainless ball. Handle is metal and looks and feels beefy. It looks to be very serviceable and no hesitation in using it, but some of the machining and finishing is not as good as it could be. Specifically the exterior chrome finish is a bit marred and when looking through the valve the passageway before the ball is a bit on the rough side. Functioning of the valve is good and threads on both ends are perfect.

I'm using these two valves as shut offs in a compressed air system in my garage/shop, one for the garage downstairs and the other for the shop upstairs. I've only run one of the two planned air lines so far so I've only used one of the two valves but at this time it is performing as expected. The valve is easy to turn with a knob that is large enough for my hands. I've had it over 100 psi for a couple of days with no detectable leakage. They're a convenient addition to the system.

I've been replacing old shutoff valves with quarter turn ball valves. It's such a better design than the old ones where you turn the handle a bunch and then they only begrudgingly shut fully off when cranked so hard you worry about breaking something.These joywayus shut off valves work and seem fine.

The NPT threads on these ball valves are cut perfectly with very little teflon tape needed to provide a good seal. The on-off knob turns very smoothly from the on-to-off position and the valve seals perfectly in the off position as tested at 125psi over a 7 day period with no detected leakage. These ball valves work perfectly in my garage compressed air system.
