Works really well and hasn't gotten stuck to any lenses or filters, so what more can you really ask?

I have an RF200-800 lens that has an 95mm filter size, and a RF100-500 L lens that uses 77. So, being able to use those lenses between cameras is very nice. May as well use your super expensive 95mm filters on anything you can, right?

I recently acquired an older digital camera that has a threaded lens, which accepts various filter applications; however, although I have a collection/set of step-up ring adapters, I did not have one that I could use with the 46mm threaded portion of the camera's lens front. The JOYTOLIN 46-49mm step-up ring adapter works perfectly on the camera and allowed me to use an additional on hand 49-52mm adapter ring (attached to the JOYTOLIN step-up ring) to accommodate a number of camera filters I have in my inventory. The adapter appears well-made, it is constructed of sturdy aluminum with well-machined & easy to mount fine threads (no burrs indicated) & the coating seems to be a higher quality matte black application. It fits my camera lens perfectly and presented absolutely no problems either mounting the ring or uninstalling it.I highly recommend this step-up ring adapter for its quality of manufacture & competitive pricing.

Back in the days of film photography (look it up, boys and girls), I had (still have, actually) a huge array of top-of-the-line Nikon 35mm SLR camera bodies, lenses and accessories. Since digital cameras took over, with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal machines, my film cameras and all of their accouterments have sat unused in a closet. But this JOYTOLIN step-up adapter ring gives at least some of my antiquated gear a new lease on life. Specifically, it lets me use all of my many Nikon filters and some of my lens hoods on my Olympus TG-6 digital camera. To its credit, old Nikon lenses were designed, wherever possible, for commonality with 52mm screw-in filters, which I have a box full of. I had never thought of adapting them to my TG-6, but I stumbled upon this product while idly scrolling on some photography websites. My reaction was like Will Smith’s in “Independence Day” when he first flew the alien spacecraft: “I have got to get me one o’ THESE!”So I did, and I couldn’t be happier with it.One side of the lightweight, super-rigid ring screws onto the 40.5mm threads on the TG-6 lens, and the other side accepts 52mm filters. It couldn’t be simpler or more straightforward. The ring is machined from high quality aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, the threads engage smoothly and precisely, and the matte-black anodized finish is even, attractive and professional-looking. What more could one possibly ask for? NOTE: Despite what some other reviewers state, this ring is made of aluminum; it is NOT PLASTIC!A case can be made that filters are largely passé in digital photography, and that many of the former reasons to use them are now better realized with image processing software. But filters still offer serious photographers creative options not otherwise available. For example, infrared (opaque to visible light) and polarizing filters produce in-camera images that can't be obtained after-the-fact by manipulating them on a computer. If I could give this step-up ring 100 stars, I would, but I can’t, so an enthusiastic five-star rating and my highest possible endorsement will have to do.

Once you realize how expensive filters are, you realize how important the lowly step-up ring becomes. Buy filters to fit your largest lens and then buy step-up rings to adapt your smaller lenses. I ordered JOYTOLIN’s 77-82mm ring. The item description says the ring is plastic, but it is aluminum. It provides two threads of holding power on both the male and female sides. It screws in smoothly and comes to a nice, solid stop when tight. It is nicely finished in matte black and the size is labeled in white lettering that is easy to read. This is an excellent step-up ring.
