Like the sturdiness of the pencils, ease of use, and consistency of flow. Have been using for both drawing and sketching and forming layout of paintings. Extremely good value.

I grew up with a father who was an engineer, to include old school drafting. After he died in my teens, I inherited his materials, including several professional grade drafting pencils. I too became an engineer, in different fields, include Fabrication and Software engineering. While we use software these days, I still work out many rough designs on paper. The last of his pencils was recently lost after nearly 50 years of use. I had a bit of "sticker shock" when I looked to replace them. Thus I decided to test these until I could decide on a "professional series".The previous positive reviewers were dead on - These pencils preform very well compared to their more expensive cousins and in one way surpasses them.The first thing we noticed (Wife stole two of them), that they are actually more ergonomic than my old professional ones. Some had rubber grips and others a more metallic feeling...but the triangle grip sat very well in both my wife's tiny hands and my much larger than average, beat up, hands.The mechanism works nearly as well but well within functional specs. Yes, they are a bit more, "delicate" but as mentioned before...the number they give us at this price point...just swap out if does break. This one pack we have 1/2 in reserve once deployed to all the places we need one - from desk to shop.Leads do seem to be very close to a good HB. Plenty of them too. We even liked the color options as well for an added bonus.The lead sharpener, built-in to the end, I have tested a few times and seems to work well. Time will tell if I prefer these over the professional ones both my dad and I used for more than 50 years.Thus I would highly recommend to all who need a professional grade, thicker lead, mechanical pencil - order a set of these to test for your needs.

Use these most of the time for marking wood , siding,etc. Thicker leads means less breaking and last longeralso. I use the colored lead when I use a dark materialto mark.

Me gustaron mucho, al principio lo senti muy liviano, pero como es un regalo para niños les gusto mucho y estan muy cómodos

These 2mm lead-holders are not made of expensive materials, but they are well-made and well-designed. Thus, they are lightweight, but they feel good in my hand with their three-sided (triangular-shaped) grasp/hold. Treat them according to their functional capabilities, and they should give you a decent lifespan. Don't expect Rotring or the like, when you aren't paying for the same-same. Consider how you will use them, and expect only what they can deliver.The package bundle that I received included NINE lead-holders (pencils), all pre-loaded with black lead, all functioning; SIX packages of nine, four-inch, black leads; and SIX packages of 12, four-inch, colored leads, 12 different colors in each package. That's 12 different colors duplicated in the six packages. All arrived with no breakage. All black leads have sharpened, pointed tips; colored leads are not sharpened. (Actually, all the leads are more like 3.75" each.)The mechanism on the lead-holders (the pencils) simulates a clutch mechanism of more expensive ones. You click down the top; the lead advances and stops in short increments; but you also can click down the top, hold it down, and pull the lead out as far as you like. Likewise, this is a method for adding or changing lead through the tip end. You also can add lead from the top -- gently pull off the clicky-top piece, which is also a lead sharpener, and drop new lead into the revealed inner tube. Replace the clicky-top/sharpener, and click-advance the lead down into writing position.The description at Amazon did not indicate what lead grades are, and the packages are not marked. I'm guessing the black lead is possibly 2B. No clue what the colored leads are made of.I consider the bundle I received a helluva deal for the price I paid. Since the pieces are built well, but with light-weight components, I will give the pieces light-medium, respectable use and not grumble if they wear out. I expect them all to last for a while -- which is what happens to anything that receives kind, respectful treatment: human relationships, our Earth and all its lifeforms, and even all inanimate forms and objects. Always be kind and respectful; it doesn't cost you anything.
