Ran it around the inside of a clothes closet near the clothing rod, makes everything in the back visible. Very bright.I bought the 2700 lumen version as well to compare and subjectively noticed no real difference in brightness between the two. The 2700 lumen light IS different (larger LEDs, thicker rope) but isn't blindingly brighter than you'd expect with over double the lumens.

I was on the fence to buy one of these until it was shipped by Amazon.Case review- Case ships as silver, but has a blue hue to it. Not annoying, but not silver either. The case is held together using screws, not rivets- a huge bonus. There were no sharp edges, no poorly threaded screws, no dings or scratches and no missing pieces. Everything fits will and doesn't need extra effort to put the outer casing on.My setup- Asrock H370m-itx, Intel 8700k, 32gb Corsair ram, 5 x 20gb Seagate Exos, 1- 4TB Samsung SSD, Corsair SF600 power supply and an Intel 10GB 540T2.Using it as a plex NAS. I HAVE MODDED MINE. I unscrewed and rotated the hard drive cage 180 degrees, so you can see the HDD labels and not the back of them. The system is run without the outer metal casing on. I run open air, it runs cooler. Having the fun push thru the hard drives from front to back works best for hard drive cooling. My 5 drives run in the 90's F. I have not tested the case closed, only open, so I can not vouch for the temps in that config. Unit sits about 5 feet from my location and is very quiet- no rattles, vibrations or unknown sounds coming from the case.I did not use the hard drive straps that are provided. The drives are fairly easy to remove if needed. I also did not use the factory HDD backplate- personal preference only. Backplate was well built and works fine.Case is well built and if I need to expand, will be ordering another one.

The case is great for a NAS build. Not much else on the market that compares when you're talking about looks. Built an unraid 5 drive nas, and it works really well. I wish they would have added a reset button on the front, which would have helped a few times, otherwise it has anything you need.The case is compact, and wiring everything up took some time. It would be good if they added a few mm of space underneath to run the wires better, otherwise it's a real tight fit. The single fan works well and keeps the hdds cool enough. If I had to do it again, I would buy this case without any hesitations.One thing to note, the 5 hhd bays are powered off 2 molex cables. So when you purchase a psu that only has 1 cable with 4x sata plugs, you won't need to buy another cable like I did, as 2 molex plugs will power the backplane and the fan.

So I went into this knowing it'd be blue. I'm fine with that, everything doesn't have to be space gray.In my instance I was coming from an ITX box with a bunch of drives sitting outside, so this is FAR more finished. You need to be careful attaching to the SATA backplane - you'll want right angle SATA cables, and be very careful when closing the case that you don't knock them hard -- the SATA connectors can break off the daughterboard (ask me how I know).A couple of fun facts. I used a PicoPSU 250w, which freed up the power supply area. That allowed me to drill a couple of holes in the retention bracket and install a few more drives, so mine is currently running with 7 3.5 18TB drives. Not bad at all. I did swap the 140MM fan for an arctic cooling one, which increased airflow and reduced noise a bit. I also added a 60mm noctua at the old PSU entrance for the additional drives. This fit the existing mount holes for the PSU.Keeps them all cool, whisper quiet, and not looking like a disemboweled box of parts.Oh, one last thing. The customer service has been superb. I managed to break the SATA backplane - totally my fault. So I reached out to buy a replacement, and they sent me one for free. Great product, great company, will definitely buy from them again.

Outer shell is top norch finish and very stylish. I really like how sleek and minimal it looks (kinda having a Apple design style). The internal build is ok-ish ( but hey, this is not an expensive case overall). The PCIe is not aligned properly and it wobbles a lot when place without the outer shell.I bought it to build a PC only for coding. I did not install any extra hard disk and PCIe cards. It works great so far. Cooling is beyond my expectation probably because no disk is blocking the intake fan. The 140mm fan is really quiet (competive to noctua lines).The case is roomy so it is very easy to manage your cable and you can have a decent cooler (I have a 120mm CPU cooling fan). If you wanna put an i7, I think it can handle it. My i5 works well under full stress. You can even do liquid cooling by replace the 140mm intake fan with a single fan radiator (you have to drill into the thin metal frame to hold the radiator).One thing I do not like is the shipping. They charge a big premium but get delayed by one week (taking me half a month to get it). Luckily Amazon refund my shipping charge. Otherwise I would definite give it a 5 star.

WOW-6000K makes it happen! I returned one rope that the wave length emitted blue (little white) light & returned it promptly as it gave light like seen in a morgue. I placed it under a bar/counter (10 ft) to accent porcelain backsplash with slight wave appearing pattern (wish I knew how to send a photo). Anyway it emotes such a fantastic focal point in the room & so many people have been overwhelmed with the “pop” it gives the room. Don’t make the same mistake I did by not ordering the proper Kelvin i.e. get . 6000K cuz this is a fantastic light!!! You won’t be disappointed. D Kelly DDS
