The arlo cameras show these units as charging, but they do not have enough wattage to keep the battery charged in full sunlight. I have other brands of these that work just fine. Returning.

Purchased set of 2 to replace Arlo Solar Panel that was hit by hail and cracked. Neither panels would charge the battery even though it showed being charged. Actually received warning that "Solar Panel is Too Hot to Charge Battery. Will be returning ASAP!

These are useful and draw from solar power that is lasting. Great as a gift item as well.

Since using the first one of the panels I found an issue while doing some work on a later mounting that has caused me to revise my review down one star. I uploaded some new photos showing the metal cone inside the mount that holds the 1/4” screw mount and articulating ball. The cone is supposed to swivel so you can position the slot in the cone. It does not do this very well. I had to file and sand down parts of little rim and clean up the inside of the base shell to get it to adjust at all, and it was still rough. I got it to work, but it was much harder than expected. If you don’t need to position the slot (this was the initial case for me) you won’t notice this. However, for most of us who are optimizing Sun angle, it’s probabaly somethjng to know to deal with.******* original review below ********I had jury rigged a small solar panel to my Arlo Pro3 a couple years ago. This worked fine until a couple months ago when it stopped charging. After suffering through manual recharge for a couple months, I went for this dual panel kit. I followed the compatibility chart in the listing and found it should work with my camera. I connected it all and, after cleaning the charge contacts on the camera with a q tip and alcohol, it worked fine. I uploaded a screen shot to show this.Other features that I like are the metal base for the panel and the included wire staples to keep the cable sitting neatly. Most of all, I like the quality of the panel itself - well sealed and sturdy.With two of these for the price of one OEM I have a spare should anything go wrong or if I want to move my second one outdoors.

Solid design on the solar panels. Even comes with little pegs to help with running the cables. Questionable on the mounting post as I've had a plastic one disintegrate in the sunlight before but, they are also sometimes easier to deal with than metal ones.No issues overall, solid panels for my arlos. Recommended!
