I have only had this Remote Control Shutter Release for my Fujifilm X-T4 camera for a short period of time. So, I have not tried out all the features. I needed a remote shutter release for my camera and could have gotten by with a much cheaper brand that would have done this single task. However, when I make a purchase, I like to buy a product that will give me as many options as possible for future use, even though I may not ever take advantage of all the available options. Therefore, after doing some research on available remote shutter units, I selected this brand. This will not be a comprehensive review, as I have not used this unit and tested all its capabilities. But there are some things that I have noticed and wanted to include in a review a this point in time.1. The 2-components of this system are plastic, but are well made for their intended purpose.2. The cable that plugs into the camera is also well made with a rubber coating. When not it use, the cable returns to a coiled position to make it easier to handle and store.3. I do not like how the hot shoe mount unit locks onto the camera with a thumbscrew. Once mounted onto the camera, only the back edge of the thumbscrew is available for tightening with a single finger. This makes it impossible for one to really get the unit mounted tight onto the camera. Even, after tightening as much as possible, the unit can be slid off the camera's hot shoe mount with a bit of pressure. I would not be comfortable mounting this unit to the camera and then carrying it around all day out in the field as it could loosen, fall off, and become lost.I solved this problem as follows: In my bag of camera gear, I happened to have a standalone hot shoe mount which had a 1/4-20 screw. This fit into the bottom of the hot shoe mount unit and had the effect of raising it up about an inch above the camera hot shoe. This additional height allowed me the room needed to firmly tighten the hot shoe mount unit to the camera, and seems to have solved the problem.4. Last, but not least, there did seem to be a bit of delay in shipping from the JJC manufacturer. I ordered this product on 1/4/23, but it was not finally delivered until 2/28/23, a period of about 6.5 weeks. I did not receive any explanation from JJC for this delay.

Tested this out with an X-T4 and it works exactly as described. It took a few minutes to get the feel of the interface but it will be relatively easy to remember although I'm going to keep the instructions in the camera bag. Came with decent batteries and the overall quality looks good. My only negative so far it that the locking wheel for the hotshoe mount is not easy to rotate when mounted on the camera: wish they had used a locking pin with a release button.
