I consider myself a neat freak and clean my house on a weekly basis, so needless to say, I was flabbergasted at just how much dust, dirt, grime, and hair I managed to vacuum out of my love seat with this vacuum (the attached photos are the results from a thorough cleansing of my love seat + 2 love seat cushions with this vacuum, gross!). For reference, I live in a 3 person household with 1 inside dachshund that gets wiped off after every use of the bathroom - also, wearing shoes in the house in a big NO GO.I’ll do a Pros and Cons list to go over my favorite and least favorite aspects of this vacuum.Pros:+ UV light. Not many vacuums have a built in UV light. I love that I can use the UV light without having to turn on the vacuum, I just simply plug the Vacuum in and set the vacuum down on what I want to sanitize.+ Solidly built. The unit feels sturdy when vacuuming and it feels like it will hold up in the long run.+ Very easy to empty and clean. The vacuum comes with a brush to further aid in the disposal of the waste.+ Quiet when functioning. I measured the decibel level of the vacuum when turned on to the highest suction setting and it read around 72-78 decibels. It’s very easy on the ears.+ Gentle agitator. The agitator is made of some sort of flexible rubber/plastic? Not entirely sure what it’s made out of, but it’s very gentle on my furniture. I was kind of worried that my couch was going to be snagged, since it’s an older couch with some loose threading, but the vacuum was clearly designed to minimize snags and tears on vulnerable furniture.+ Suction power. When turned on to the highest suction setting, it clearly gets the job done (as is evident in my photos)+ Heating and air flow. The heating air system on the bottom of the vacuum helps loosen up dust mites that lurk deep within my furniture’s fibers.+ Long power cord. The power cord measures just over 15 feet, which is plenty of length to work with.+ Affordable. At the time of this review, this vacuum is $139.99 USD, which is totally fair, considering the amazing results I have experienced so far.Cons:- UV light activation. In order to turn on the UV light, there are 2 buttons (which are the wheels of the vacuum) that constantly need to be pressed in. On slimmer surfaces, it’s hard to keep the UV light on, due to the lack of surface area. I think it would have been better if the UV light was activated using 1 center aligned activator.- Struggles on bumpy or uneven surfaces. While this vacuum is a beast on flat surfaces, it does struggle on uneven surfaces. I found myself getting out my general purpose vacuum (for the hose capabilities) for crevices and nooks.- Dust sensor. While good in theory, I fail to see any consistency or accuracy from the dust sensor.Overall, I give this vacuum 5/5 stars. The results easily triumphs over the few minor gripes I have with the vacuum (I think my photos can attest to that).

This is a great dust/mite vacuum that justifies its price point. It's easy to use thanks to its convenient design, and it's very efficient and effective. It only takes a few minutes to vacuum the area of a cushion or similar area, and the dust cup combined with the multiple layers of filters make for a very effective dust-catching mechanism. And it's got great safety protection for the UV light, as well, so you can't accidentally give yourself skin cancer while you're trying to clean. I like the 'dust index' that shows you how many dust particles it's vacuuming up as you use it. It's also quite quiet for a vacuum so you should be able to use it at any time of day.As far as downsides go: It is pretty small in size so you're not going to want to try to use this on the floor, and any large surfaces like a bed or sofa will take a long while to vacuum. Also, I have no idea how the dust index works - meaning it seems to work well in general, but I have no idea what the technology is that makes it work. Additionally, on small (thin) surfaces, or things like pillows with a lot of give, the UV light will never be able on because it takes pushing down on both of the little wheel-like levers that need to be pushed to activate the UV light. Finally, it struggles somewhat on excessively bumpy or ridged surfaces. The vacuum pulls a bunch of dust and tiny particles out of almost any surface you use it on. It can easily be pulled across a room thanks to the 15 foot power cord, which is appreciated as well since it lets you vacuum from almost any outlet.Overall, I definitely recommend this vacuum if you're dealing with surfaces that you want to pull all the dust off and out of, that you can get at arms' length for you.I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis. I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review. I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product. I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the questionable. If I get multiple of something it's because I regularly use and need both of them. And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected.

This is a relatively small but powerful vacuum meant to get the finest of particles from very important surfaces such as mattresses or couches. It can even suck up mites and bed bugs.Overall the vacuum works very well and has a nice lightweight despite the intricate parts and powerful motor. It does not have a long handle however, so it is best to get comfortable and reach down to the surface that needs to be cleaned. But that also helps see closer than what you are actually picking up with this vacuum. So far it is reliable, works to really deep clean any surfaces, and has had no problems. We use it around once a month for all the mattresses and couches.
