I have a little niece who is an Abba fan who just celebrated her 10th birthday recently, so I thought this Abba-themed sash and heart-shaped glasses set would be perfect for the birthday girl to wear on her special day. The sash and glasses set comes in a plain, clear plastic bag and is supposed to include a safety pin to hold the sash on, though I didn’t receive the pin with my set. To be honest, I was expecting there to be a velcro closure on the sash like other sashes of this nature that I have purchased in the past.The sash is of fairly decent quality…the material is thick enough that this would last for quite a few uses if stored carefully. The underside of the sash is lined with a soft material, which is a good thing as the top side is made with a sparkly material that would be pretty scratchy on the skin. The sash itself is pretty large and would fit an adult woman easily…my niece was swimming in it, but she still loved it. The sash looks pretty much like it does in the photos on the product page…the colours seen here are true to life. The heart-shaped glasses are blue and come off as being a bit flimsy. If you are very careful with them, they may last for another event, but to be honest, I can’t see them lasting long as the plastic they are made of is thin and feels brittle. These were obviously made to fit an adult woman as they were super-big on my little niece, but she didn’t mind! Just to note, the blue colour you see in the photos is accurate, but these glasses do not have shiny lenses, they are made completely of transparent blue plastic.Overall, this sash and glasses set were okay, but nothing special. My niece loved them and that was the most important part. The sash survived her birthday party, but just as I had anticipated, the glasses broke soon after her little brother got hold of them. I’d definitely say this set is meant more for a teen or adult. At just a penny under $15, I find the price high for this set. I hope my review has helped you to make the purchase decision that is right for you! Keep dancin’, queen!

Compared to others I have seen this one is made of a better quality thicker material, not flimsy. Matches the theme perfectly for me. If you're looking to do a Mamma Mia themed event this sash is a good one to order.

This sash is a nice quality glittered fabric with a smooth, almost felt like, backing to it, so it won't scratch your bare skin. It does need to be pinned at the waist and includes a basic safety pin to do so. The heart shaped glasses are rimless and of costume variety, but really cute for pictures. This is a perfect unique birthday sash for any Dancing Queen turning seventeen, but would be fun for any event. I find this well made and cute, but you do need to get the wrinkles out before wearing because it arrives folded.
