I’m very pleasantly surprised by these. I’m 5’10” and very heavy. I ordered the size 20 and everything about them is as flattering and comfortable as can reasonably be hoped for when you’re tall and heavy. Most clothes are too small or short in one or more dimensions. These don’t squeeze what was my waist, which I think I like the most about them. The rise is comfy, not too high and not too low. For anyone with a similar situation try these. The length is delightful and the stovepipe shape does not make my legs look like shapeless breadsticks - it’s not a dumpy stovepipe. These are great for 5’9 to 6’1 I’m guessing, or anyone with long legs.

I am 5 feet 9 inches tall and 174 pounds, normally a size 14. I first bought these jeans in white and loved them— when white jeans are flattering, you know it’s a special garment. Then I started to find that my other pants were all too tight in the crotch as my body changed in menopause. But the white jeans still felt wonderful. So I sent for the same size 32 in dark wash. I feel totally grateful for these flattering, comfortable jeans in their updated style. I do plan to wash them in cold water inside out, and hang dry.

I’m curvy, 5’7 hourglass shape, 160 pound for reference. I’ve tried many pairs of jeans over the years that I always return. These are fantastic, perfect length when I wear my blundersstone boots. So I’d imagine with my Birkenstocks they’ll be great also. They do shrink a bit in length so you probably will have to stretch them back out, but overall great! I wore them for the first time yesterday and got complimented by literally five people at my work. I’m on here today to write a review and see if there’s any other colors to buy.

I love these jeans however they do run big. I ordered a 25 and they are gaping around the waist. Based on the style I don’t mind that they are baggy however if you want something more fitted through the waist, I suggest sizing down. Super cute pants. I also agree with the other review that the inseam is more like 30”.
