Works well but not for reflectors since the LED is really bright and classes with the reflectors in a tail light or headlight housing. It's quite long lasting and I've never had issues with it but if you live in a state where automotive lighting is strict, I would think twice or at the very least, read up on lighting laws before purchasing. Luckily, I live in the southern states and they're not as bad

Installed in a 2nd generation Ram. Replaced all four corners, and the backup lights (also swapped out the flasher relay to address hiperflash with the reduced load). I had originally ordered the equivalent lights from supperbright. I was not impressed with the fit and manufacturing quality of any of those lights. Poked around the web a bit and found these... for less money. I really didn't think they would be any better, but they are. They all securely fit into the sockets just like an OEM bulb would. The diffuser on top of the end firing LED's makes a very uniform illumination pattern with no "hot spots". They are brighter than incandescent, but not too bright (yes kids there is such a thing as too bright). Been running them for over a year now with zero issues. Highly recommend them.

This review for the WHITE LED's (5 Stars for the White LED's);Replace my original white backup bulbs with the White LED's. The LED's are so much brighter and I am able to see better while backing up. Happy with the White Led's--------------------------------------------------------------------------------This review for the AMBER LED's (2 Stars for the Amber LED's);No better that original 3157 amber bulb. First off, the LED was a very tight fit into the electric socket, When lights are on, the LED amber light was barely brighter than the original 3157 amber bulb. Then I turned on the directional function, the original 3157 amber bulb flashed brighter and was more focused than the LED amber light. Ended up keeping the original 3157 amber bulbs in and returned the LED's for a refund.
