Needed to replace an older pair of earbuds that started having battery depreciation which I bought in 2021 on Amazon (TaoTronics SoundLiberty 95), that I used everyday for upwards of 8 hours a day at work. I thought I'd buy a brand name earbud and really looked at multiple reviews on Amazon and YT, but am not really impressed with the Vibe 300TWS .JBL has great sound, easy to connect through Bluetooth and controls are easy to use...but that's where the good ends. The buds cut in & out when using to watch videos or podcasts, calls cut in & out and when using MS Teams, ZOOM or WebEx calls. Distance from PC is not great either and battery playback is kind of low at maximum 6 hours of moderate use. To be fair JBL does state this on the site, just figured they would outlast my other earbuds being a "better" brand.Update - After 3 months of usage the 2nd pair of buds bluetooth signal has degraded as well, disconnecting during Zoom calls and even during YT and need to try repeatedly to reconnect. Also the left earbud speaker also now has a lower volume than the right. These buds are terrible, do not buy and if I could would drop rating to 1 star.

I've been using these for just under a year to replace airpods that had started to lose their sound quality after less than 2 years (something I've heard other people say happened to them too, so seems like crappy built-in obsolescence), so I think I can speak to the pros and cons.I need earphones shaped like this because of small ear canals, and there aren't many options on the market. I can't even get the other kinds with rubber pieces to stay in. I'm able to run with these, but they do get caught on things like hair and get pulled out a bit more easily than my airpods did. They do not cancel background noise if you're on the phone like airpods do, to the point that I avoid phone calls with these if I'm outside. It just leads to the other person constantly asking you to repeat yourself.Another thing I don't like much is that they will be the default mic/audio if I make a call, but if someone calls me while I have them in, I have to go and manually change the setting to the headphones rather than the phone. They will only connect to the last source they were connected to, even if that device isn't on or in range, which is annoying. If you want to switch devices you have to manually disconnect and reconnect to the other one immediately, or it will just go back to trying to reconnect to the last connected device later. Airpods at least detect the range of devices and don't just reconnect after manually disconnecting. The case battery does decrease faster over time and needs to be charged more often, but doesn't take long to charge. The battery on the headphones themselves also lasts much longer than airpods so far, as in days rather than just a few hours at a time. The sound quality is still good, better than I remember the airpods being after a year. Noise cancelling is also good. For some reason it's not really possible to mute with them in. Even pulling the volume all the way down you will still hear things at a very very low volume.Overall they have been a good airpod alternative for me personally, mostly because of their similar shape. I am hoping they don't go the way of the airpods in another year and become pretty much unusable because the sound is no good.

Ordered these headphones after getting frustrated with my SoundPeats set. Delivery was quick and set up was fairly easy.Sounds quality is top notch, especially when considering the price and size. Bass is really clear and deep and is clear when listening to spoken word. Have fielded a few calls with this set and so far the person on the other end says my voice is fairly clear with some background noise coming through. The buds fit nicely in my ears, but not sure if its because I've been using ear buds for several years now.The biggest downsides are poorly written instructions (actually there are barely any words in the user manual), frustrations in connecting from one device to another and its charging case. Downsides one and two are partially connected. The instructions show the different gestures you can use to control your device, including ways to control your music, calls and voice assistant. I like that the buds make a small noise to tell you it's registered your command. There seems to be also gesture instructions to disconnect the ear buds from your device but I can't seem to get it to work. The instructions are a bit convoluted and could benefit from some written explanation. When I trigger the bluetooth disconnect I hear what sounds like a disconnect noise and I assume it'll let me then connect it to another previously connected device but it refuses to connect to the other device defaults back to what it was just connected to. This happens when I try to switch from anything between an Android phone to a PC to an iPhone. Finally the case is a decent size, although it opens up from the flat side instead of the edge like an Apple Airpod. The case is very light and the flap is very flimsy. With mine being all black with black print on it and having notches on both sides of the flap I often find myself trying to open it from the wrong side which is frustrating. And unlike the Airpods and my old Huawei Freebuds 3 there is no button on the case to trigger the ear buds to disconnect from the currently connected device and I think it could have benefitted from having one given how convoluted it is to use gesture control to disconnect.Overall I think I can live with the drawbacks given how nice the sound quality and mic are but there will be frustrations for sure.
