This is an excellent, high-quality shirt by Izod. The fabric is really soft and comfortable with an attractive tropical print (we chose Holly Berry) on a white background. The shirt is very light and airy, great for steamy summer days. It has mesh venting like a fishing shirt, which helps provide coolness as well as increased flexibility of the shirt across the back. According to my husband, he loved everything about the shirt but the fit. He felt it was just a little more fitted or tight across the chest than other shirts he's worn that were also a 2x. He's still wearing it but says the fit makes it just a little less comfortable than he would've expected. All in all, though, a really nice shirt at a reasonable price.

This is a perfect shirt for knocking around in summer. It’s a little pricey for a 100% polyester shirt ($27.23 when ordered; increased to $30.50 two weeks later), but it’s a name brand, and the fabric and build quality seem excellent, so I think the price is within reason.The shirt is feather-light and the fabric is silky smooth. All the stitching looks good. There is a moisture-wicking, slightly webbed inner liner across the top back (see photo); that part is not as soft as the shirt material, but it’s perfectly comfortable. The fit (medium for 5’9”, 145 lbs., 38” chest) was exactly as expected — tailored enough to look tidy, but loose enough to be very comfortably relaxed.The shirt made it through the washer (delicate cycle) and dryer (low heat) just fine, but it came out more wrinkled than many similar shirts I have had. I tried drying it by itself and immediately putting it on a hanger, but the wrinkles are still noticeable. It’s not sloppy-looking, but if you’re looking for a truly wrinkle-free shirt, you will probably be disappointed.Note re unpacking: When this shirt is packaged for shipping, they insert quite a few (at least 5-6; I lost count) of those annoying, clear-plastic fasteners through the fabric, including in several unexpected places. The fasteners are tiny, very hard to spot, and could tear the fabric if you try to unfold the shirt without finding and cutting all of them. I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t get my left arm through the sleeve; it turns out I missed one of the anchors. That was annoying. Luckily, the fabric did not tear, but forewarned is forearmed (no pun intended).5 stars for a great shirt that is not quite wrinkle-free.

IZOD has always been a quality clothing retailer. This shirt lives up to its reputation.First, the pattern and styling of the shirt is visually appealing. It gives off a summery and sporty vibe and is physically light and comfortable. I love the fact that it has SPF protection built-in. I find this important because some lighter colored shirts can still allow sunlight through and allow for an individual's skin to burn.I've noticed that IZOD sizing tends to run a little on the larger side. I am 5'11", 175 lbs and depending on a shirt's sizing, will take either a medium or a large. Since I often find mediums to be a little too confining, I usually choose to go with a Large. In this case, I probably could have chosen a medium and still been ok. So, keep this in mind when deciding on a size. Typically, I would rather have a more relaxed fit over a tighter one and this type of shirt lends itself perfectly to that style.Looking forward to using this shirt as we head into the sweltering summer months. It will certainly lend itself to comfortability and style.

Received shirt as pictured.Very "silky" material, soft and feels nice on the skin. The shirt fits nicely and is true to size. Slightly tapered/ athletic fit which is more of a flattering fit on my frame, versus a boxier style of shirt.I washed/ dried several times to take care of the shipping creases. The shirt looks nice and I don't notice any shrinkage. The stitching along the vent and on the buttons seems well done and sturdy.This is what I call a "fishing" style shirt, which has some functional elements to is. It has a vent in the back and holes in the armpit area to allow for airflow.This is a good looking shirt. Fits well. I like it!
