This bit fits great on my hurricane shutters bolts and eliminated stripping the bolts.

The cover does not stay held back from the screwdriver a bit because it’s spring loaded so if you’re in a tight space, you’re trying to drive the bit and also hold back the cover at the same time

This was purchased to assist in removing/ loosening hurricane screws to install hurricane shutters. The flat head works great even on those screws that the house painters have put many coats of paint on. Tightening is just as easy..

I used this tool to finish installing a security screen door, held in place with one-way screws. The tool supplied by the door manufacturer was flimsy, and didn't even install 1/3 of the bolts. Considering my experience with the supplied tool, I bought two of these, just in case. The first one did the job well, showing no damage to it, after I was done..

I needed a big *ss flathead bit to remove a stuck plug on a boat rudder and it did a great job where everything else failed previously.
