The stock Nest cable is too short. This solves that issue, but it also comes with an adapter that may or may not be water resistant. It doesn't say anywhere on the listing or the adapter that it is, so I wouldn't trust it.It does work as expected, connects to the camera well and stays put. It keeps my camera charged with no issue. I think it's a good product for the price, just be wary of using that adapter in the rain.

I have all my cameras mounted outdoors. The ones that came with the camera work just fine. No failures yet. This one works just fine as well. I drilled a hole to wire this inside and the length is perfect!

TLDR: This charging cable charges the nest camera while maintaining battery to alleviate the need to charge it every month or so IF you have an outlet near it or a way to wire the cable around your property.- The price is "ok". The cable isn't bad but it won't win awards for charging speeds (Although that is most likely the camera's fault)- It functionally makes the camera always charged and as if it were a normal wired camera (because it is, at least electrically, with this attached)- The length is ok at around 10ft.- The package includes some flat wire anchors that are easily able to attach/route it into most materials (textured-painted outdoor wall is what I was able to confirm)- The wire quality is decent- The only potential problem I could have with this product is that the USB A connection into the brick has a solid 1-2 mm of gap when it is inserted. Whether that is for waterproofing or just a bad brick, I do not know.
