Atrape partículas grandes y olores
El prefiltro de carbón de coco activado MD1-0023 se utiliza en limpiadores de aire Vornado para atrapar olores y otros compuestos orgánicos. También extiende la vida útil del filtro HEPA atrapando partículas más grandes.

Thought it would be a chore but was so easy and it came with an extra Carbon filter.

The flashlight holder is not suitable to hold a maglight. There is no adjustment ability to tighten the holder and since there is no bottom the flashlight falls through. The maglight is the size that this unit is made for but i suggest looking at a holder that has a bottom so the light doesn’t keep falling out

Not sure if i really needed to replace my old one seeing only a few dust particles trapped on the surface. Easily washable, replaces with hepa air filter all together just to be on the safe side due to hyper sensativities. In aby case, um sure it didn't hurt but as an evaluator of this product I can't say that it made any difference either. As a reviewer I will score it a 2 star even though I am on the boarder about it doing anything.

Excellent carbon filters. I actually use these as pre-filters for other HEPA air filters, cutting them to size. The Sears Kenmore filter do not have good quality carbon pre-filters so I make my own. These work well in a household with two cats and a lot of dust. They can also easily be cut to size as alternative filters for inexpensive air filter machines. I didn't buy them for the product they are intended for, so I can't comment on their use in a Vornado.
