I used it the same day I received it. So far so good. Very sturdy and thr cup holders are an added bonus. So handy for floating around or even towing behind my kayak! Allows for more storage and space. I had enough room for my kayak cooler bag and my large dry bag inside this inflatable cooler!! 10/10 would purchase as a gift or for myself if needed.

So I had originally purchased this cooler for a lazy river trip. Unfortunately, the cooler arrived the day we left for the trip so we couldn't test it out on the river. We were pretty excited for the cooler so after the river trip we decided to take it out to the beach. We figured, if it can handle the ocean it should be perfect for the river... This cooler handled the ocean flawlessly. We tied a line through the loop on the side and kept it in place with a small kayak anchor. It was like having your own bar in the ocean!So we tried our floating bar set up two ways. The first was to dump all of the ice and our drinks into the cooler directly. The cooler held up just fine this way and kept everything cold, even after the ice had melted. The second (and preferred) way was to load up a cooler bag (the kind you use for grocery shopping) with ice and/or freezer packs and our drinks and then put that bag in the floating cooler. This was by far the better option, not only did it keep everything cold longer but it made restocking much easier and kept the inside dry in case we wanted to put snacks in the cooler as well.All in all I'm very happy with this purchase and will be taking it with me whenever I'm on the water. The cooler is well made, perfect in size (our group was about 10 people and everyone had what they needed), and a great value!Also, never underestimate the value of 6 floating cup holders when preparing cocktails on the water. Total game changer.Pros:EverythingCons:I should have bought this a long time ago.

This is the perfect inflatable cooler. It comes in 2 parts, the first (and main part) being a raft that can hold a cooler, and the second part being the inflatable cooler. I took this cooler down a river this past weekend and it did it's job perfectly. I did not use the inflatable cooler, instead this thing was big enough that I was able to fit my full size cooler into it and it was secure without using any ropes or anything. I was going to rate this thing 4 stars before the trip because it did everything it needed to do, but I was assuming at least once during the trip there would be an issue with this cooler. Nope, 0 problems, this thing hit rocks, rapids and after a while I was simply not even looking at it anymore because it was holding up so well. If you are casually riding down a river with a few small rapids here and there I would definitely recommend this cooler, I couldn't see this handling more aggressive waters unless if you strap down the cooler or have a backup plan if it pops.

We floated the Black River in SE Missouri yesterday and this cooler floaty thing was awesome!!! It arrived overnight as promised in perfect condition. I bought the Intex Electric Pump from Walmart yesterday morning and we inflated inside Walmart. I'm sure I'll show up on People of Walmart. LOL. The pump is great to.We always bring a cooler so in the past we always had to raft or canoe to have a way to carry the cooler. Because this worked so well, we will be able to tube a lot more, which we prefer, instead of rafting or canoeing. The cup holders came in extremely handy. Our beer cans fit in them even with skinny koozies on them.The cooler or float never came close to tipping no matter how much we pulled and tugged on the float when we ran into brush and got stuck. Also, I got stuck on brush a lot less than normal so the cooler float did not cause me to get stuck more often.I will be buying two of the Intex RiverRun tubes. I saw a few yesterday and the people loved them. They are so much more comfortable than the tubes you rent. The people who had them said that they haven't had one puncture ever.The middle section is best used to hold a cooler but you can use as a cooler itself. I would never use it that way while on the river because there is no insulation. I would use it that way in a pool or if in the water and refilling it with ice was easy. It has an inflatable top with Velcro attachments to secure it. You can take the top off completely or use it like a typical cooler lid with a hinge.It came with about a 24" nylon rope, but I highly recommend bringing more rope to tether it to whatever you're going to tether it too.Awesome product worth every Ppenny!!!
