Good thick pads. 3.5 year old could not stay in it for more than 30 minutes and it is winter. It's like being wrapped in a plastic wrap. It blocks the slits in the back of the car seat which apparently really do help with air flow. Ultimately I couldn't use them. In a long drive, this would be dangerous. You are better off putting a pad on your vehicles seat under the car seat. Bring a towel. But this is not safe.

These car seat protectors work great. I have a daughter who gets carsick and is potty training! I have three that I cycle through. They’re really game changing. After a carsick episode, we were able to change my daughter and remove the car seat pad and replace it. Nothing got on the car seat! Now the car floor is a different story…but the car seat was saved!

These seem pretty universal from car seat to carseat which is great. We actually bought them because our toddler gets car sick and those protects those areas where the belts come from from getting gooey with vomit. I'm sure they'll work great when we start potty training as well.

These wash very well, have nice bright designs, and are very sturdy yet soft. I have a toddler who is potty trained but not for sleeping and long drives were awful if we forgot to put on a pull-up. The car seat was washed so many times that the cover looks like it's 10 years old. This has saved me from having to continually wash the seat, it protects the seat perfectly and doesn't leak through. I'm very happy with this product.
