Bought this dial indicator because I needed something like to this to measure inside run-out on my 7x14 mini lathe (see photos) and it is in imperial units (thousands of an inch). White dial background is preferred over the yellow variant. Stand adapter works well and two sizes are included. Beware that there is not much range in the dovetail (as stated only 30 thou) however, the dovetail is a friction fitting so you can move it forward or back from the shipped position. The bezel can be zeroed out/rotated as needed but it is easier to move the fine adjustment in the stand.

Case hinge was broken. It's the quality you expect for the price. Works and can zero but will get better one later. Ok for now.

Haven’t assessed the accuracy but the dial does not seem like it’s designed to rotate so that you can zero the dial. It’s made of plastic, unlike the rest of the tool, which is metal. The dial does rotate but not smoothly and the bezel is not connected to the dial itself so that you have to squeeze the bezel to get the dial to rotate with it.
