Replaced original impeller with this one for seasonal maintenance and it wouldn't pump water.....tried multiple things thinking it was an installation problem and still no water. Reinstalled the original and it pumps like it should. It must be dimensionally different than original equipment enough where it won't prime. Buy OEM pump and save the headaches. Tried on a Suzuki DT5Y

Fits and works good, on my Spirit outboard made in the 80's.It is a rebadged Suzuki DT-2.So buy with confidence, if you own this Arctic Cat outboard.
