I never had a wireless printer and was hesitant to purchase. This one had good reviews so I tried it. It was so easy to install for both my phone and laptop. It is so light. No cartridges, which saves me money b/c I don't use a printer every day and they dry up. 200 pack of thermal paper is very reasonable. All the way around it is the BEST buy in a printer. I can carry it anywhere. HIGHLY recommend.

The best thing to know about this printer is that you CAN use regular paper (of any sort)! A lot of thermal printers require the use of only thermal paper, which is more expensive and does not feel the same as regular copy paper. All of the other features I will mention are great also but are pretty standard as well. That's why I wanted to point out the value of being able to utilize any paper - and the price makes it a great value also. For anyone who may not be familiar with wireless or Bluetooth printers or scanning devices, there is no need to be intimidated... they are as simple and easy to use as a plug-in device. Although the interfaces will look different, most of the features that you are familiar with, such as settings, number of copies to print, where to save items, print quality, printing parameters, etc. Once your device is set up, it will generally function two ways:1) If you've already set the printer as your default, then when you go to print a document, the printer named printer will appear, and you can either print or choose to select an alternate device from the drop-down menu; or2) If you power on the printer, depending on your settings, the built-in app may pop up to guide you through a print job.Everything genuinely will already be pretty familiar to you, or at the very least, easy to assess and navigate.Print quality is excellent - as good as a plug in or standard size printer. Print quality is consistent throughout the document for both crisp text and well-defined images. Quick print speed. Dries immediately and no smudging.Printer is compact, portable, and lightweight. Useful as a home printer but especially convenient for travel or working offsite, etc.!I highly recommend this printer, as it is an excellent value considering it's versatility and user-friendliness! Great for both new users and experienced pros.

Well, these printers are not for everybody as the consumables are very very expensive. That being said is it perfect? Nope.Is it really good? Tickling the really good if I'm honest for a few reasons. It's one of the smallest full sheet of paper printers I've seen all my life full stop. They promised portable and you got it. Battery rechargeable and multi modes and paper sizing makes this really good. Another really good thing is that on the phone it uses the vastly better (has it's foibles yes) app phomeoprint which in my testing beats almost all the other thermal crummy apps you are sometimes forced to use. So at least it's the cream of the slightly annoying cell phone side! The bad? Well they kind of bend the truth with the thermal and regular printing with poor documentation as well. How it actually works is the thermal head sits UNDER the typewriter ribbon style "ink" cartridge. It laser beam thermal zaps the the ribbon and transfers the said ink to the paper "cheating" the printing. This was clear when I opened the front with it in my hands to see the loading sliders and the "roll" of ribbon fell out and unwound itself on the deskI needed to manually roll a 1/2mm thick ribbon back onto it's spool to reload it into the printer. Yeah...not fun. It's NOT secured or locked into place so make sure you open the front lid (two buttons either side) only with the machine on a table.IF you remove this ribbon altogether however, you can print directly on thermal paper straight up. Note this will cost you in special thermal paper but in the end the ribbons can only print for roughly 40ish sheets before running out you are going to be bled for either direction. ribbon or thermal papers. If you look at the images of the tree you will see it's glossy of sorts the ribbon ink. That is normal 100lb paper on all of them, using the ribbon "paper" printing. It's also only good for simple TT font type texts that won't have the edges clipped and not for pictures at all. See varied pictures to see what I mean.I will try to find some ribbon only to respool this cartridge - because why not? I literally just did that (by accident I admit) with the original here. I don't see why I wouldn't be able to use any ribbon of the same type to respool some. Will test and see!You are paying for a super small portable printer, that when put on the desk will make you the utter envy of every other CEO or Wallstreet guy standing within 50ft of this thing. On that front it preforms in spades. If you are concerned about material costs however be wary!(also note there are 3?! newer models than this one by the same company!)
