We were hosting a family event and wanted to do a buffet-style dinner. We had two roasting pots that worked fine for huge dishes, but for some of our smaller side dishes we had nothing. Especially if we wanted to keep the, warm!This was pretty easy to assemble, with us just having to add the handle in front of the lid. Everything is pretty nice, it feels sturdy and well put together. The heat source candle containers are easy to lock in a place, and work great. It comes with some tongues, which is a nice touch, and the window through the top of the lid is great as well for seeing what is in the container.The only negative that I found, and it’s not a huge negative, but it is very stiff to move around. Opening and closing the lid is not easy. It just takes a little bit of adjustments out of the box, and some use to loosen it up, but if you had a lighter in there, it could cause problems with the Tray moving around.This is exactly what we wanted, despite the site inconvenience of a lid.

I am a SAHM and I throw little events and parties throughout the year for my kids (and their friends) and my family. I've been unofficially deemed the hostess of the family. That being said, I have to serve large amounts of food pretty often and figured I would give this Buffet Set a try. I'm so glad I did! This has become such a game changer for me making it so much easier to store and serve a good amount of food. All while keeping it warm. I love the versatility of this as you can adjust it to how you want it served. The lid has a window to peak through and it's not super heavy to open and close. The quality of the stainless steel is REALLY nice and looks amazing too. It kept our food warm for a very long time before it was all gone. Cleaning was also easy (minus it just being large). Once I'm done, I put it back in the box, and store it away for the next event. It's heavy duty and heavy in general, but not enough where you will need assistance moving it around. It was a hit with my last event and will continue to be one. Definitely worth the price!!

This chafing dish is nicely constructed, easy to use and clean. We enjoy entertaining at our house and this piece is perfect for keeping dishes warm and ready to serve to our guests. Great for holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas. As a bonus you can use this as a cold serving station by using ice in the water pan rather than water with fuel.
