I swore I would never own a full-face motorcycle helmet - too claustrophobic. Therefore, being my first one, there was a learning curve. I had to learn to put up the bottom piece to take off or put it on. I never thought I had a big chin but, my chin is pushed up against the helmet when locked in. I bought it one size bigger than I normally wear in my half helmets. I love the stereo. I saw complaints it has to much treble and not enough bass. Well, that is so you can hear it. It is the same reason as in fighter jets they use women's voices and not men's voices. The higher pitch is easier to hear. I heard complaints it was not loud enough. Really, it is so loud my ears ring afterwards. But then again, I don't ride a Harley with the tailpipes removed. When I received the helmet, I discovered the wall plug in was not in the accessory box. I contacted the manufacturer via email, and they quickly sent me a wall plug to charge the blue tooth. Thank you very much for that! It was greatly appreciated. All in all, I have come to love the helmet. Highly recommend it. (I did drop the helmet and scratched the clear visor. Waiting until they have the anti-fog visors back in stock before I replace the one I scratched dropping it on asphalt.

I have had this helmet for about a week and put about 400 kilometres on it. I went from a Speed & Strength “Go for broke” helmet to this one.The Good:My previous S&S is abnormally light, about 1.2kg, and this helmet is rated at 2kg so I was a little worried it would be too heavy. It is noticeably heavier, but the balance is good so it is not an issue. The drop-down internal sun visor is very nice. It has good coverage as it almost touches my nose and the activation lever is easy to find and feels solid.Phone calls are fine. No problems hearing or being heard.Siri button works as expected so that help with initiating calls. The vertical view range is good. My speedo is mounted on my tank and I constantly had to look down to see it with my previous helmet. I can now just slightly incline my head to see it now.The seal is good. The main reason I am switching helmets is because there’s actually TOO much ventilation in the S&S and it dries out my eyes.Update: I charged it for the first time. It started beeping when it was low but was still functioning 30 minutes later when I get home. The beeps weren’t too loud or too often. I ended up getting about 5-6 hours of music time out of a single charge which is totally acceptable. The Bad:The modular hinges are too tight to raise or lower it with one hand. There are 3 air vents which is just barely enough. The visor is always right on the tipping point of being too foggy. The battery mini-USB cable is quite hard to plug in. There’s a water-proof slot to connect the charger through, but it’s pretty impossible so I have to take the battery pack out to charge it. Annoying but not the end of the world. The speakers are tinny due to lack of bass. People say “what do you expect from helmet speakers?” I say “Buy JBL helmet speakers and see what these small speakers are capable of”. But it doesn’t bother me.It’s hard to turn off. You have to press the Bluetooth spinner for a really long time, feels like a solid 10 seconds to shut it off. It’s therefore really easy to accidentally leave on and drain the battery. The Bluetooth spinner feels cheap. It works great but I’m not sure if it will stand the test of time. The Ugly:No way to pause music or skip songs. Thankfully, I started riding years ago with ear buds and already have a wireless remote to handle that stuff (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B081RLWSTL).The non-fogging visor is $90.The vendor is not responsive to questions so be prepared to return it to Amazon if you have issues.

I ordered the XXL, my head is 24" and the fit is fantastic. The 3/4 flip up is great, visor and sun shades great. The vents re decent though the once near the mouth should be bigger to prevent fog when stopped. The helmet is pretty heavy but not too bad. I'm also an XXL so that prob has a factor in the weight. When helmet arrived it was just the bare hemet in a big box with packing paper around it. The bluetooth battery/module was missing as well as the carrying bag. Called amazon and a week later I got a brand new one packed in a branded box with bag and bluetooth battery. I think the one I was sent originally was a return. The helmet is great but the bluetooth is 50/50. The speakers are pretty loud but have zero bass and sound like the treble is turned all the way up. You can't skip songs either which is really annoying. The wheel for the controls can be spun a bit in either direction and you can press the wheel in as well. Pressing the wheel in switches between modes (Bluetooth, Intercom, FM Radio) When you press that button the bluetooth music gets really staticy/laggy it's terrible. The only way I've found to get it back to normal is by turning it off and on again. The FM radio sounds decent. Can't comment on the intercom as I've never used it and don't plan too. I think the worst part about the bluetooth (aside from not being able to skip songs) is if you get a call and don't answer it'll auto answer after 15 seconds. People on the phone say they can hear me decently enough at around 35mph.I'm prob gonna keep the helmet but I'll still look for one with better bluetooth better speakers.

Everything was going fine until I got pulled over by the cops, apparently, these helmets aren't considered approved for wearing here in Australia, it was lucky that I had my open-faced helmet with me.

This helmet is awesome! My first helmet was a harley brand modular with a flat black finish that eventually became sticky and I just couldn't accept it anymore. My second helmet was a HAWK bluetooth helmet because I thought it would be nice to listen to music or even maybe make low-speed phone calls or accept calls at least while on the bike - nope, that didn't work. The HAWK was junk. The visor hinge broke in the first couple days, the helmet was very loud (wind noise) so I couldn't even hear music at moderate interstate speeds, and phone calls couldn't be heard and couldn't understand me above 25mph.This helmet feels like great quality, strong hinges, loud speakers, quiet when riding on the interstate, and I didn't even know or see that it has FM RADIO built in...wasn't I surprised this morning on my first ride with it and paired my phone and before I did much, a local radio station starts playing...even better!! Yes, I love it, I want another one for my wife when I start taking her on more rides. Comfortable, quiet, and awesome functions.
