For the price point, works very well on hardwood floors. Will get stuck easily under furniture or on curtains. Mopping works well for an every day mop, but not a deep clean

This robo floor vac and mop mode do a decent job of cleaning, however the areas cleaned are very sporadic. There is no logical cleaning pattern; you just have to hope it gets everywhere. The water canister is a bit frustrating. As soon as you out water in it starts leaking. It seems like it is designed to simply drip water on the floor as it moves around. It does clean the floor tho, and the mop pads are washable amd wash well. I like the spot clean feature. It has a mode that goes around the edges, of the wall but will only do so if facing north (left side to wall), which is a bit annoying. It also does a fairly wide turn if it bumps into a corner, which leaves a semi circle uncleaned. The app is quite terrible. The remote on the app doesn't work at all. The hand held remote only works around 30% of the time, and only 20% of the buttons work on it (30% of the time). There is a schedule you can set on the app for daily cleaning. The schedule stopped working about 2 days in. I have given up after trying to set it again several times as it just resets and deletes the schedule every time. This alone makes me regret purchasing this particular model. It does not fall down my stairs. There is a sensor that stops it from progressing; it turns itself around (sometimes it gives me a bit of a heart attack though as it seems to be irratically trying to keep turning back towards the stairs).Overall, I find myself "supervising" this robot a lot to make sure it is not getting into trouble. Sometimes it tries to climb weird things, and the sensors and functionality sometimes stop working properly, which is dissapointing that the makers didn't fix such obvious programming issues.Overall, I am happy to have this and to have purchased it on (a deeply discounted) sale. It is obviously not the smartest floor vac which after so many years of this tech being available, I would have hopped it would be a bit more intelligently designed. It's really not bad though for the (sale) price. If they fixed the app, it would be a lot better.

This is my second iLife, the V5sPlus (Purchased 02/2024). I also have the Noisz S5 by iLife (Purchased 05/2020), and they are basically the same machine. What I like about it, they go for a long time and sweep up the dust very well. They don't have a rotating carpet brush but I don't have carpet. I have also pretty much robot-proofed my house by raising the furniture, getting rid of most rugs and keeping electric wires off the floor. My house is about 1500 sq feet with 3 bedrooms, a mostly open setup with furniture all around. It is a must that the robot be able to negotiate furniture and travel into bedrooms and bathrooms.I bought a different brand earlier this month, but reluctantly returned it. It used a straight line back and forth method of sweeping, and this just didn't do at all. It just stayed in one room most of the time and sometimes went into a second room and after so much starting and stopping, it was drained within an hour with half the house not done. It had a nifty app which showed the coverage and allowed you to schedule it, etc, which was great but mostly it just showed me that it hadn't done the job.The iLifes that I have use a random motion and go hither and yon but pretty much cover the whole house within a couple of hours. If you do it every day or 3-4 days a week, you can be pretty sure it got to everything. I definitely think random is better. The app that comes with the iLife Plus is very basic. You can turn it on and off and schedule, and that's it. It shows no coverage or anything like that, but I know that it is covering the floor plan so I am happy. The new iLife V5S Plus also mops, and for me it is fine. Once a week, I replace the dustbin with the water bin and put on the mop cloth and it goes for a long, long time and pretty much mops my house. I just use plain water on my floors and laminate. It goes even longer since the suction is off and only uses battery to move.So I am very pleased with my iLifes. Sure you can get more features for more money including a mapping function, better app and better carpet cleaning if you need it, but this one is just fine for a little house with wood or tile floors. And by the way, I bought a new battery for my old one ($22) and it is back to working great. I may give it away but sometimes I just turn them both on and let them go.

I have a Roomba J7+combo (mop) and a Roomba i7.I wanted to have an extra robot mop but didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars for another one.At $100, this one was worth the risk to try it.The one thing I don’t understand about Roomba is that they do not have two side brushes. You would think for $900 they would. That is what I noticed about this little robot vacuum is that it had two side sweeper brushes, which means it grabs more debris on the floor. The other thing I don’t like about my Roomba mop combo is the mop pad itself is very small. That is what I noticed about this robot vacuum/mop is that the mop pad itself is much larger. After having it for a few weeks, here is what I have found; It is very quiet, but doesn’t have a lot of power. It’s kind of slow.It does a basic good job, but is definitely not a Roomba. When filling up the water tank, it drips constantly until you put it inside the robot. When you are only using the vacuum, you are supposed to take off the mop pad, but the Velcro that is under the body gets debris and hair built up therefore making the mop pad not able to stick correctly so routinely comes off during a mopping session.I have not been able to have success with connecting it to Wi-Fi so I have to turn it on manually. My biggest piece of advice to anyone who has not owned a robot vacuum mop before is to always wet the mop pad before each use. This way you can get a better clean.
