Works fine, just double check you are buying the exact cord you need. IKEA is great, but when three cords are needed tor a light it can be a little complicated. Make sure you know all the pieces you need for the lighting you are trying to do, typically you need a light, a connecting cord from the light to a power box, a power box, and a power cord from the wall to the power box. Sorry I don't know the correct terms, just make sure you know exactly what you need.
