I ordered this hoping it would be lighter than my pathfinder 32oz stainless steel bottle, it is not. The bottle is very good quality but for the price it's just too heavy.

Love this water bottle! Well constructed! Lid is a little noisy but gets better with time. Love that the lid is also Ti instead of plastic like most Ti bottles out there. The silicone seal stays in place but is also easy to remove for cleaning. The lid seals nicely without the need of really twisting it tightly...just rotate lid until the seal seats and give a very small additional twist and the seal is good and will not leak. For those of us coming from wide mouth Nalgene bottle use...you will be happy to know the thread pattern is the same. Pricey but worth it. I will be purchasing another for my wife.

Great water bottle, the quality is really good, and the lid is incredible. That said the lid is also close to the same weight as the bottle, but the tooling is super cool almost like it belongs on a spacesuit. As for using the lid to drink water well that's another story as it is not tethered and the threads are many, so its several turns off and the back on just for a sip. The CamelBak Chute Mag Universal Replacement Cap fits perfectly and is lighter and has a 1/4 turn magnetically tethered cap, so perfect for drinking and hiking. all an all love the bottle and the original cap but for hiking get the mag lid as an option.

I am very pleased with this titanium water bottle! It's well-made, with a nice fit and finish. The cap is very thick, and has a thin rubber gasket on the inner/under side for a leak-proof seal. If your primary consideration is the light weight of the titanium, you may want to swap the cap out for a plastic cap, as the titanium one is almost as heavy as the bottle itself! I can confirm that the threads are the universal wide-mouth pattern (63mm) same as with Nalgene, Camelbak, etc.I got the Blue Desert Smartube Hydration system for use with this bottle, and the wide-mouth adapter fit perfectly. https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Desert-SmarTube-Hydration-System/dp/B000GM6LWS/ If you do decide to use a different cap, depending on the manufacturer, you may want to pick up a pack of these silicone O-rings just in case you have leak issues, these sit at the base of the neck and will stop any water from escaping the threads. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FMYTD2/The included neoprene cover is a nice bonus for some additional insulation, but I also picked up an Orca Tactical bottle bag to hold the bottle, which has an outlet at the top to snake the Smartube drinking tube out of. https://www.amazon.com/Orca-Tactical-Hydration-Carrier-Multicam/dp/B01KN66QQ2Purchase price at the time of this review is $89.99, and in my opinion is very reasonable for a high-quality titanium piece that will literally last a lifetime. Based on this experience, I would definitely buy more iBasingo products in the future.
