After considering a number of other lightweight titanium flasks, I decided to try this one because it was relatively cheap and had the best volume to weight ratio. My copy weighs in at 52g and holds 202mL when filled to the brim. The walls of the flagon seem almost excessively thick considering the strength of titanium, but that's forgivable I suppose. The only visible seam is the connection between the body and the neck but it's not clear to me how it is bonded. Perhaps it is welded from the inside? No leaks yet, but the visible gap does not inspire confidence. The color of the spout metal looked suspiciously stainless steel-like so I first checked with a magnet (it was not attracted) and then performed a spark test on the metal to determine if it is indeed titanium. This test was not conclusive, so I then tried the heat test using a torch. Both the cap and stem developed bright iridescent colors upon heating, a good indication that it is titanium. The cap screws on fairly smoothly with only about 1 1/3 turn, which is easy but also means that there are very few threads to engage and also to hold the gasket in place. The silicone gasket has already popped off of my cap once, so keep a close eye on that thing lest you end up with a liquor tragedy in the field. It would have been nice if they included a couple spares. My biggest complaint about the design is that it just isn't great for sipping out of. The short spout means that the body will get in the way of either your chin or your nose as you drink. You'll also have some trouble getting the liquid to pour smoothly because the spout is small and is in the center of the flat top, creating some vacuum issues. The shape also makes it hard to get the dregs of your drink out of the container. The canister-like shape also does not pack as nicely as a hip flask does. However, if weight and cost are most important to you, or if you plan to use this mainly just to refill a flask, you may not find a better option than this little flagon.

Perfect - as advertised. No leaks, and good price. I cant even imagine where they might leak - the only seam is on the spout. The rest of the unit is continuous - no visible welds.Ti is nice, finish is flawless, and really a good value. A little smaller than a small redbull can @ 200ml. Larger spout than the hip flask of the same volume (I love the 200ml hip flask btw, I use it all the time). There is a supple silicone gasket in the cap, which is secure. No lanyard though, so take care not to drop the cap.Pours well, and cap threads are very smooth - next to no effort to put on or remove. I'm happy with my purchase - I got 2 of them for travel. They do resemble a diversionary/smoke grenade with the fuse/spoon removed, so we'll see if I get any harassment from the TSA.

I am extremely pleased with this little flagon! IMy first choice would have been the round Snow Peak but as that is priced beyond my means I decided that if I ordered this affordable one and didn't like it could pass it onto my wandering kids.I'm keeping it as I find it's aesthetically just as beautiful as the other, just different. It is supremely well milled and has a little silicone seal inside the very grippable lid. The logo is lovely but small and discrete and only on one side. The opening is big enough to pour into without a funnel and there is no taste transference to the contents at all.So, here I am buying more! I imagine that I will put 200 ml of good Irish whiskey in here to share with a companion after a nice long trek but what the kids put into their bottles will be up to them.

Leaks at Seams. Terrible quality. Unhappy with purchase. Would only recommend to people I don’t like so they can waste money and leak booze everywhere like I did.
