I had bought a 2001 allegro bus, the storage lift that were installed were rated at 40 lbs ea and they could not hold my 30 lb doors open for more than 20 seconds, I bought 10 sets and they were easy to install and 1 was enough to hold the door open, I did install both and it could be a overkill , but I don’t want to have the bad experience of getting hit over the head with a 30 pound door again. Better be safe than sorry!

I ordered these to replace the lifts on my A.R.E. Walk-In Door. The first thing when opening the package was that the bags containing the hardware had gotten caught by the heat sealer and the entire bag had to be cut open to get to them. As I was replacing a set of lifts, I did not need the hardware for the mounting points. The connection points are screwed into the ends of the lifts by hand. To remove the existing lifts, I used a small flathead screwdriver to pull the retaining clip back and they popped right off. Unfortunately, I didn't know which lift was the "good" lift. I found out when I pulled the first lift off and the door immediately fell on my shoulder. Putting the new lift on was a simple matter of pressing it onto the connection point by hand. I did have to adjust the lower connection point on the new lift to accommodate the position of the mounting point. I repeated the process on the other side. My door now stays up and doesn't sag. I replaced 105# lifts with these 120# lifts. I would recommend these but make sure you are getting the right size and weight capacity.
