This hat is so soft and comfy for babies! We love that it’s adjustable so that it fits snugly on our baby’s head. The only reason I took off a star is because of the under-chin tie. A mechanism similar to the adjustable string around the head would be more practical! The tie is difficult to tie on a moving baby, and the king strings get in his mouth.

My son is on the fairer side, and is very light-sensitive. So, we wanted a quality hat to help keep the bright sun off his face. Personally, I am not a fan of the goofier-looking hats, but safety comes first. My son's head is quite large for his age, so the hat is a little fitted- but it is not too small. It is one of the only hats he's ever tolerated, and really seems to make his outdoor experience more pleasurable. We will definitely be using this for as long as it fits!

I purchased this hat for my 14 month old son who is in the sun/pool a lot. I went with the iPlay brand because I recently purchased waterproof diapers from them recently, and was happy with those. There are a lot of color options with this hat, and I ordered gray to match both of his swimsuits. The material is lightweight, and holds up well when wet. I can also adjust the circumference of the crown as my son grows. The brim is the same depth all the way around the hat, and keeps the sun out of his eyes and off his head and neck. The shipping was fast. I would recommend this hat to other parents.

I purchased this hat for my baby when he was around six months old and we've been using it for the past six months. He is very fair and we live in Texas, so I knew I needed to get him a sun hat ASAP. I love that it's made with lightweight material and the fit is adjustable. He is a big boy and he still has room to grow in this hat. It can be tricky to tie the straps together to secure it and it also is tricky to keep dry when you use in a pool because the sides are so floppy, but all in all, I am very pleased with this purchase. I also love the color, it's neutral and goes with everything.

Have had this hat for about a week. My 1 year old hates it. Why 5 stars? Because I love it and this is my rating, not my baby's. The strap is long enough to secure the hat on his head. Despite random futile pulls, my son could not get this off of his head! The strap is not velcro which he would easily have pulled off of his head. Love that.The hat's brim is large and covers his head from the sun. It also folds upward when the sun is not directly in his face (we'll see if this folding up feature lasts once the hat gets more wear). There is also a drawstring to change the size of the hat around his head - this also keeps it on his head better.So far, this was what I was looking for.
